Ristorante Giovannino

Let me start by saying that few restaurants in my life have I reviewed so negatively but this one exceeds all my expectations! We decided to stop in this restaurant by pure chance, as we were passing through the area! We sit on the veranda where we are served water and Coca-Cola at room temperature (40 large in the shade). Reading the menu we opt for 3 oysters (3€ each) a seafood salad (18€), a fry is a first course! At first impression the oysters seemed fresh but as for the seafood salad, it was made up of 80% carrots, tasteless squid and uncleaned mussels with an unpleasant smell! After 50 minutes of waiting after finishing the starter (empty place) the first course arrives with frozen mixed seafood with peeled tomatoes instead of cherry tomatoes and raw frying with clearly ruined prawns! For the beauty of €73, non-tax receipt! Completely absent service given that the waitress was never seen at the table not even for a classic "how are you?". We asked for an ashtray, neither did we receive bread!

... on a break in Latina, a dear friend books at Giovannino, a historic place that is very sober and elegant at the same time from the outside you immediately go out onto the beach and there are still people sunbathing at the end of October, beautiful then we sit down, the welcome is unique, the very kind ladies on duty offer us their menu let's take a good Vermentino from Gallura, BRANU, fresh and tasty, excellent we choose to take raw fish which will prove fantastic, oysters, sea bream tartare, red prawns, gobbetti, and scampi, then other grilled scampi, very fresh and delicious then our. friend recommends the risotto alla pescatora to us and since he knows the place well we trust it the risotto is fantastic, the fish very fresh and present, well done then only I have a tiramisu, very, very good coffee and so on CONGRATULATIONS and to the PROX!!!

Partially negative experience during a communion. Everything was quite good for the adults while for the children it was an odyssey as they were served late and after the adults and the pasta (tomato or clams) was raw and salty. We didn't understand what could have happened but it was really difficult to get food for the children and you can imagine how difficult it was for us adults to keep them at bay.
